captainnikkaposts asked: So im trying to lose weight and i need to up protein and watch my carbs. How do you do that on a vegan diet
Oh wow, I’m sorry I don’t know much about vegan diets! Maybe try messaging a vegan blog in particular :) Vegan protein filled products that I’m aware of can include spinach, nuts, legumes and beans, maybe especially made supermarket vegan substitutes..?
I also think you should consider not doing the vegan diet until your entirely sure how to do it healthily first xxx
Anonymous asked: was it hard to give up food for a healthier meal plan? it's been really difficult for me because I tend to give in.
Yes and no! At first I think most of my unhealthy eating was habit or routine which sounds strange.. But I was used to eating heaps of white bread, not much fruit, cookies and a cupcake in the afternoon, hot chips and fried foods for dinner, in a way I didn’t really know or try any different! When I decided to be a little healthier I began with substitution. White bread for multigrain, fried food for oven cooked foods, icecream for frozen yogurt or smoothies and eventually I found that easier :) next I slowly cut out unhealthy things like cookies, chips, fish fingers, anything over 2 pieces of bread per day, angthing over 1 glass of milk and eventually.. I found that easier :) don’t get me wrong I had days and still do where I’m like hey I feel like this! I’m going to eat it anyway! But as time went on I felt these cravings less often.
But the main point here is take it slow :) Start to make healthy habits, learn to enjoy healthy foods.. It WILL happen. I love eating healthy and I love treating myself occasionally.. And in rerun I guess you could say my body loves me hehe power on gorgeous, it just takes time xxx
